I met Sparky and Nelson when we delivered the painting, “Sparky Sense,” in 2006. The look in Sparky’s eyes and body greetings show that he is intelligent, humorous, and kind, as well as complex! Nelson’ Santos’ “Sparky” project is a celebration that addresses the need for art (and human consciousness) to get beyond the human focus only. - Jan Harrison
